NEET UG 2023: The National Testing Agency conducted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2023 on May 7 however the exam was not conducted in Manipur due to the law and order situation. When will NEET UG 2023 be conducted in Manipur?

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test UG 2023 will be conducted in the state of Manipur between June 3 and 5. The admit cards for the same are yet to be released. The exam was conducted in the rest of the country on May 7. The exam couldn’t be conducted in Manipur due to the law and order situation in the state.

Can candidates from Manipur get their exam city changed?

There is an option for students to change the city of examination who are in Manipur. The exam city option will be available to candidates of the state through Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) between 7 am of May 26 to 7 pm of May 30. Candidates will receive a message on their registered mobile number in this regard.

Candidates can change to any of the following cities— Aizawl (Mizoram), Kohima/Dimapur (Nagaland), Shillong (Meghalaya), Guwahati (Assam), Johrat (Assam), Silchar (Assam), Kolkata (West Bengal), Delhi, Bengaluru (Karnataka), Imphal (Manipur).

How can candidates apply for change of city?

Candidates can contact/ reach the office of the concerned City Coordinator where they are either presently living or interested to appear. The City Coordinators will share the consolidated list of candidates with NTA with their application number, name of exam, preferred exam city.

The candidates can also send an SMS or email regarding their city preferences along with their application number, name of examination.
