NDA 2023 Exam Dates have been announced. NDA I 2023 Application Form is starting from 21st December 2022. For the second session application form will be made available from 17th May 2023. NDA (National Defense Academy) is conducted each year by the UPSC (Union Service public Commission). This is a national level examination which is conducted two times each year. NDA 2023 Application Form
Candidates can check complete details about NDA 2023 Application Form in the given steps:
- Application form for NDA I will be released from 21st December 2022 & for NDA II it will be made available from 17th May 2023.
- Candidates will be able to apply through online mode only, any other mode will not be allowed to fill the application form.
- Registration process will be completed in two parts i.e. Part I & Part II.
- Part I will include basic registration and other details while Part II will include uploads of scanned photographs, signature, fee payments etc.
- It will be necessary to fill examination center choices while filling the application form.
- Candidates must fill details carefully in the application form including personal, academic and other.
- Authority will also provide application withdrawal facilities to the candidates for a short time period.
- Application form will be filled till 10th January 2023 for NDA I and till 6th June 2023 for NDA II.
- Candidates will need to upload scanned documents in the specific format and fill details carefully to avoid mistakes.
- There will be no need to send an application form by post to the authorities.
- Don’t forget to take a printout of the application form for other future references.
Application Fee:
- Application fee of NDA 2023 examination is Rs. 100/- for all candidates.
- Candidates who belong to SC/ ST/ NCOs/ Sons of JCOs/ ORS category are exempted to pay the application fee.
- Application fee will be paid via credit card/ debit card/ net banking or SBI challan method.
NDA 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria before filling the application form of NDA 2023:
Nationality:
- Candidates must be an Indian citizen/ subject of Nepal/ subject of Bhutan/ refugee of Tibetan who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention to settle permanently in India.
- Candidates who have migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and east African countries of Zambia, Tanzania, Zaire, Ethiopia, Malawi, Uganda or Vietnam with an intention of settlement in India can also apply.
- Foreign nationals (except Gorkhas) will be required to produce a certificate of eligibility which is issued by Govt. of India.
Academic Qualification:
- For Air Force & Naval Wings (Cadet entry scheme): Applying candidates must have passed 10+2 class examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- For Army Wing: 12th pass candidates will be eligible to apply.
- Appearing: Candidates those appearing in 12th level are also eligible to apply.
Gender, Age & Marital Status:
- Both male and female candidates will be eligible for NDA 2023.
- Candidates will not be allowed to marry until they complete their training period.
- Applying candidate age should be between 16.5 to 19.5 years.
- For NDA I, the candidate must be born between 2ndJuly 2004 to 1st July 2007. For NDA II, the candidate must be born between 2nd January 2005 to 1st January 2008.
Fitness Criteria:
- Candidates must be physically fit as per the physical standards set by the commission/ authorities.
- Candidates who have withdrawn or resigned from any training academies of Armed forces on disciplinary grounds will not be eligible for NDA 2023 examination.
NDA 2023 Exam Pattern
Candidates must go through following details regarding NDA Exam Pattern:
- Exam mode: NDA 2023 exam will be held via offline mode (Pen-paper based).
- No. of sections: It will consists of two sections as Mathematics & GA section.
- Time duration: To solve the question paper, candidates will be given total 5 hours (2 hours each for Mathematics & GA section)
- Questions Type: The Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ) will be asked in the question paper.
- Language: The question paper will be bilingual, i.e English & Hindi both language.
- Negative marking: 33% of marks assigned to the question paper will be deducted.

NDA 2023 Syllabus
NDA Syllabus will be published online at the website. We will update the details in our article soon. It will consist of various topics from the Mathematics & GA section.
Paper 1 (Code No.- 01) Mathematics:
Integral Calculus & differential equations, Analytical geometry of two & three dimensions, Trigonometry, Statistics & probability etc.
Paper II (Code No.-02) English & General Knowledge:
It will consists of two parts as Part A- English & Part B- General Knowledge
Part A: English
It will be designed basically to test understanding of students in English & how to use proper words. The syllabus will include vocabulary, grammar, comprehension & usage of cohesion in extended text. Candidate’s proficiency in English will be checked.
Part B: General Knowledge
It will include various topics from various subjects as Physics, Chemistry, General Science, Social studies, and Geography & current events.
