NID 2023 Application Form has been extended till 22nd December 2022. Exam is stands for The National Institute of Design and is one of the premium institutes in the field of design. This entrance examination is held to select eligible candidates for the various UG and PG courses in the field of design. The candidate will be selected based on a two-stage competitive test Design Aptitude Test DAT (Prelims) and DAT (Mains). The final merit list for the NID 2023 will be prepared by the authorities after the successful completion of both tests.
The candidate who is shortlisted will be called for admission to NID. NID 2023 has three campuses in Bengaluru, Gandhinagar, and Ahmedabad. Candidates who pass both the stages will be eligible for admission to various campuses of NID based in Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, Ahmedabad & other places. Here we have provided the exam pattern for the NID 2023 examination:
The NID Syllabus 2023 will consist of various topics including Comprehension, Knowledge and Visualization, Creativity, Memory Drawing, Drawing Skills, General Mental Ability, etc.
The syllabus for the studio test will consist of various topics including Observation Test, 3D Modeling, Creative Thinking, Body Language, Portfolio Making, etc.
The NID Admit Card 2023 will be released in online mode. Candidates will be able to download the admit card from 30th December 2022 for the prelim exam. There will be no admit card sent through post or any other offline mode.
The admit card will be downloaded by using their email address and date of birth. Details related to the exam date, venue, and center will be mentioned in the admit card. For DAT main candidates will be able to download the admit card from 14th April 2023 for B.Des & 9th March 2023 for M.Des.
The Answer key for the NID 2023 will be released in the online mode. The NID answer key will be released by the authority after few days of the examination. It will be available on the website along with the question paper of all seats.
In case candidates find any discrepancy in the answer key, they will be able to submit the objections with the amount of payment per challenge. With the help of the answer key, candidates will be able to know the correct answers to all questions.
The NID Result will be available in the online mode on the website of the exam conducting authority. The result for the B.Des DAT prelim will be available from 20th March 2023 & 28th February 2023 for M.Des. Candidates need to visit the website and enter their login details to see the result.
The qualifying candidates for the prelim exam will be eligible for a further round. The final result for the NID 2023 exam will be declared on 18th May 2023 for B.Des & 16th May 2023 for M.Des programmes. The final marks will be calculated based on marks obtained by the candidates in the DAT prelim and mains.
The candidates who will appear for all the tests in DAT Prelims and DAT Mains will be selected in the merit list. The NID merit list will be released through online mode.
The first merit list will be released after the DAT Prelims exam shortlisting the candidates for the main exam. The final merit list will be available category-wise through online mode on the website of the exam conducting authority.
